I hereby assume full responsibility for the operation, risks attendant thereto, and safety of the above entered Yacht, its seaworthiness and the safety of myself and my crew and agree to save harmless and defend Navy Yacht Club, its officers, agents, employees, committeemen and members assisting such committeemen, from all claims, suits, actions, or demands arising out of this operation and participation of subject Yacht, or while using club facilities or receiving assistance or aid from members of the Navy Yacht Club during this regatta. In entering this regatta and while participating therein, decisions and actions taken by me as to the operation of my Yacht, its handling, storage, or hauling and the conduct and safety of my crew are solely my responsibility and will be based solely on my own knowledge, information, observations, and experience and my obligations under pertinent laws, rules, decisions, and regulations; I confirm that I will place no legal reliance on any information furnished me by Navy Yacht Club, its officers, agents, employees, or committeemen or members assisting such committeemen, including information such as weather conditions, courses to be sailed, navigational hazards, tides, currents, or shoals, or the proper safety equipment or measures to be followed relative thereto.
